1969 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE BOBBER I find low-key, vintage bobbers irresistible, and this 1969 Triumph Bonneville from Johannesburg is a classic in more ways than one. It belongs to Justin Steyn, who started the project way back in 2009. The style is utterly timeless, and like many of the best bikes, deceptively simple. The build process was anything but, though. It started when Justin bought a basket case oil-in-frame Triumph 650 from a friend: “I had two wheels, a frame and an engine—and little idea where to start,” he admits. He eventually found a old-school Triumph specialist, Peter Moody, who completely overhauled the engine. Then things got tough. “There were no hardtails available for the oil-in-frame models,” says Justin, “so I couldn’t get the basic rolling chassis going. Yamaha YZF-R125 2014 edition unveiled Unveiled today at the MCN London Motorcycle Show, the new Yamaha R125 2014 edition is easily the best looking bike in the 125 cc segment today. Powered by a 4 stroke single cylinder water cooled 124.7 cc engine, the R125 delivers 15 PS power and 12.4 Nm torque . Inspired from Yamaha R6, the new R125 features 6 speed constant speed gearbox,and a new fuel injection system which improves efficiency by 11%. Just like other Yamaha’s this one too has a high revving engine with max power achieved at 9000 rpm and max torque at 8000 rpm. In the UK, Yamaha R125 will replace the best selling supersport 125, and will compete with the likes of Honda CBR125R, KTM Duke 125, and Aprilia RSV4 125. The team over at Steel Bent Customs in Oldsmar, Florida diced up this 1990 Honda CB125 TT into a clean and lust worthy Brat.t Funny enough, this bike was found on the back of an RV traveling down the interstate in Florida. The team at SBC were intrigued by the unique twin-cylinder and mono-shock setup (something not normally found on a 125cc) that they had to get their hands on it. Thankfully their decision to turn the bike into a Brat Style bike was the best one they could have made. Showcasing the two feature they loved most about the bike the best.
