Spyshots of the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R special edition

It’s just been a few weeks that the Kawasaki Ninja 300R was launched in India and left us impressed when it was put to the test during our first ride experience and later an exhaustive road review. In fact Kawasaki alongwith the 2013 Ninja 300 also had a 250 variant catering to markets other than where the 300 was being sold. Essentially being the same motorcycle in every configuration except the engine, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R is down 6ps on power when compared to the 300 with torque figures reading 21 nm @ 10,000 rpm compared to 27 nm on its elder sibling.

Spyshots of the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R special edition

A facebook member of Motomalaya has managed to click spy pictures of the soon to be launched 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250R Special Edition. Apart from the usual lime green colour, the special edition Ninja 250R is also available in a black-sliver combo with red accents in form of stripes running across the body and rim tapes on the wheels. The trademark green gets a similar treatment albeit slightly different graphics. The biggest change on the motorcycle is a new exhaust from reputed Italian manufacturer Arrow. What performance variation the Arrow exhausts offer needs to be seen.

The motorcycles have been spy shot at Sarawak in Malaysia and seem like a special edition particularly for the Malaysian markets.
