KTM is still not very keen o show off their new RC390 small-to-middleweight sport bike, but it looks like A&R got their hands on some leaked info.

As we already knew, the new KTM is the street version of the racing model, both built on the platform which also gave us the 390 Duke.

The bike comes with an exposed trellis frame, and it looks like KTM really likes showing off their chassis. More new Austrian bikes come with the frame painted in bright orange to be even more easily spotted.

While the race cup bike had a rather tall side-mounted exhaust, we're glad to see the RC390's silencer being incorporated in the belly pan. This also adds a more aggressive look and centralizes mass even more, which should improve handling.

On the tech side we're looking at the 373cc 4-stroke single delivering 43 hp, mated to a 6-speed transmission, KTM's WP suspensions, floating rotors and ABS, 147 kg (324.5 lbs). The 10-liter (2.6 gal) tank should provide decent range, too.

Since it appears like the 2014 KTM RC390 is also compliant with the European A2 license, we can expect this bike to be a hit, provided it reached the dealers with a budget-friendly price.
