   Ducati's new Monster, the 1200 and its 1200S version will hit the European stores in March, while the US Ducatisti will be able to throw a leg over this beast one month later, in April.

   The beauty queen of the 2013 EICMA, the Monster 1200 drops the air-cooled L-twin in favor of the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° mill derived from the Diavel. Riders are in for quite a blast, as the power unit will provide 135 hp of pure fun and 87 ft-lbs (118 Nm). The low-power Diavel, that is.

   Motoblog reports that the first bikes have already rolled off the production line, with the fresh price tags reading €13,490 ($18,270) for the Monster 1200 and €15,990 ($21,655) for the added S.
